In creating a responsive web design for a local cafe, I focused on delivering a seamless and visually appealing user experience across desktop, iPhone, and iPad. For the desktop version, I opted for a clean and spacious layout, utilizing images of the cafe's products to engage visitors rather than a single hero image. I incorporated a scroll feature for the images to enhance interactivity for the users. The navigation bar is fixed at the top, ensuring easy access to different sections like the menu, job applications, and contact information.
For mobile devices like iPhone and iPad, I implemented a grid system that adjusts the layout dynamically based on the screen size. On the iPhone, the navigation transforms into a hamburger menu to save space, and touch-friendly elements ensure ease of use. The menu is prioritized and accessible on the home page with minimal scrolling. On the iPad, the layout strikes a balance between the desktop's spacious design and the iPhone's compact efficiency. These design choices demonstrate my ability to create adaptive, user-centered web designs that can effectively meet the needs of diverse audiences and devices.
